Getting to Mahahual

Banco Chinchorro alone covers an area of around 310 square miles (800 km2). And due to its formations and flora is home to a great variety of sea creatures including crocodiles! As the natural vegetation that conforms the small islands also found here are mostly mangroves. For this and more it was named by UNESCO as a World Heritage.

Aside from the natural phenomenon’s you will also find shipwrecks to explore while diving in Chincorro. Among these wrecks you will find 2 Spanish Galleons.
